The role spans full lifecycle ownership—pre-purchase due diligence through approval, closing, and ongoing monitoring—while partnering with internal risk teams, operations, and trading to optimize risk adjusted returns and meet portfolio objectives. The Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager will build and maintain robust financial models, evaluate refis, resets, paydowns, monthly surveillance, quarterly reporting, manager relationship, size positions relative to risk appetite, and proactively manage credits through market cycles. Success requires deep knowledge of credit documentation, syndicated market dynamics, and portfolio risk management. Support senior management in making sound investment decisions in achieving objectives Conduct timely and reliable trade execution for the Bank’s Investment Portfolio under the direction of the Senior Investment Portfolio Manager Work independently to develop investment ideas, integrate market and economic data into decision making Manage and continue to build relationships with our Wall Street counterparties Drive communications by bringing a real time market perspective to other team members, further aligning opportunities in the market with portfolio objectives Supports and works closely with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) department to invest capital Continuously broaden and deepen expertise in fixed income asset classes appropriate for banking and depository institutions Monitor markets – rates, monetary / fiscal policy, dealer research, mortgage / credit / economic trends Read and analyze published financial information and dealer research that is applicable Perform other analytical activities and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics 3+ years of trading fixed income securities with emphasis in Agency MBS 5+ years of Capital markets experience with portfolio management preferred Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure 5 Knowledgeable of current/upcoming regulatory rules 6 Strong understanding of mortgage analytics 7 Proficient with MS Excel and other MS Office applications 8 Proficient with Bloomberg/TOMs, Trade Web and other operation systems 9 Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex materials to a diverse audience 10 Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and a desire to work on a wide range of projects Preferred Qualifications: Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent education, e.g. MS Economics or Finance and / or CFA designation Demonstrated experience and understanding of structured products Experience with sponsor‑backed leveraged loans, CLO market dynamics, and secondary trading protocols. Familiarity with sector coverage (e.g., Healthcare, Tech/Software, Industrials, Consumer, Energy) Certifications: CFA (preferred), FRM (plus), or equivalent 5+ years of experience in Credit Analysis, Leveraged Finance, BSL underwriting, or Loan Portfolio Management (buy‑side or sell‑side) Strong command of credit agreements and syndicated loan documentation (covenants, baskets, collateral/security, intercreditor) Proven track record managing active BSL portfolios: amendments/waivers, event risk management, and rating migration oversight Proficiency with market and risk systems: Bloomberg, Loan IQ/Intex, Moody’s/S&P tools, internal rating systems, and Excel/PowerPoint General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:
