Position Overview We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented
Skilled Carpenter
with strong framing expertise to join our residential construction team. This role is essential to delivering the level of craftsmanship and quality H&H Builders is known for, working closely with Project Managers, Designers, and trade partners to execute complex remodeling and custom home projects.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded carpenter who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and consistently high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled residential framing for remodels and custom home projects
Layout, frame, and modify walls, floors, roofs, and structural components accurately
Interpret construction drawings, structural details, and framing plans
Work collaboratively with Project Managers and field leadership to meet schedules and quality standards
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Identify and communicate structural conflicts, design discrepancies, or field conditions proactively
Ensure framing work meets plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards
Support inspections and make framing adjustments as required
Assist with related carpentry tasks as needed to support overall project progress
Qualifications
2+ years of residential carpentry experience preferred
Strong experience in high-end remodeling construction
Proficient with a wide range of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
Solid understanding of structural framing methods, sequencing, and load paths
High attention to detail with pride in craftsmanship
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
