Senior Commercial Interior Architect

A highly respected, award-winning architecture and interiors studio based in New York is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Interior Architect to join its interiors practice. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping interior environments across a range of commercial and hospitality projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and clients to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Lead commercial and hospitality interior projects through all phases, from early design studies through construction administration Take a hands-on leadership role in project management, coordination, and production Develop and refine design concepts that balance creativity, functionality, and technical excellence Produce and oversee high-quality construction documentation, with a strong emphasis on Revit workflows Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and client teams to ensure seamless project execution Maintain design intent while managing schedules, deliverables, and project complexity Ensure Revit models are accurate, efficient, and aligned with studio standards and best practices Apply a strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and interior systems Navigate applicable local building codes and regulatory requirements Contribute to a collaborative studio culture through clear communication and mentorship Key Skills / Requirements: Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution 8+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in the U.S. Proven experience delivering commercial and hospitality interior projects of varying scale Strong proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite Working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam is a plus Demonstrated ability to coordinate consultants and manage complex construction documentation sets Strong design sensibility paired with technical rigor and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment To apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your resume (and portfolio for design positions).
