Overview
The Porter plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at our Toyotadealership. This position supports both the Service department by ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, fueled, and ready for customers while maintaining a safe, professional, and efficient dealership environment.
Vehicle & Lot Operations
Move, park, and organize customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently
Maintain clean, orderly vehicle lots and service drive areas
Ensure vehicles are properly staged for sales, service appointments, and deliveries
Perform basic vehicle prep (remove protective plastic, check for cleanliness, etc.)
Service Department Support
Assist with customer vehicle check-in and check-out as directed
Transport vehicles between service, wash, and parking areas
Perform basic vehicle cleaning and vacuuming as needed
Support advisors and technicians with vehicle flow and organization
Customer Experience
Greet customers professionally and courteously
Provide basic assistance to customers when requested
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude at all times
Facility & Safety
Keep dealership grounds clean and free of debris
Follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures
Report vehicle damage or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Prior dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time
Some weekends required
Hourly pay based on experience
