Overview Lead Anaplan Model Builder position represents an opportunity to develop Anaplan models and provide consulting support to the Budget, Planning, and Campus Strategy department, School of Medicine (SOM) and additional ad hoc requests from the Executive Vice Chancellor's Office. The role acts as an Anaplan subject matter expert and focuses on creating and supporting complex models that incorporate data from Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and FIN to inform planning, policy decisions, and operational improvements. It will also respond to recurring and ad hoc requests for information about projects overseen by the mentioned offices. The role will manage day-to-day Anaplan operations, workflows and projects for the School of Medicine under the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE), establish governance and best practices, and support transformation. The incumbent will independently manage the implementation and operationalization of School of Medicine models such as the FTE Effort Reporting, GAP Analysis, Funds Flow Reconciliation, and Commitments. To be successful, the incumbent will rapidly develop a deep understanding of campus data, build relationships with campus partners to identify strategic data, and assist partners in data collection and management processes.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Library Science, Data Science or a closely related field.
At least four years of relevant Business Data Analytics, Financial Planning, or EPM administration experience, including two years of experience with Anaplan modeling and developing.
Anaplan Model Builder Certification or Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner.
Substitution
Conditions of Employment:
This position is eligible for hybrid work environment with on-campus presence 3 days a week or more depending on business requirements. A schedule combining on-campus and as-needed in-person meetings may be implemented.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and/or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Library Science, Data Science).
Certified Master Anaplanner.
Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and Human Resources.
Experience with Oracle Peoplesoft.
Experience creating solution tools utilizing multiple data sources.
Competencies

Familiarity with data integrity, analysis, visualization, and security best practices.
Strong understanding of data structures, relationships and data manipulation.
