Location note: This position is 100% in office. The employee will work their scheduled work hours in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be at the John Rowan Branch in Bardstown, KY.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Personally models the standards of the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.

Assess the financial needs of Banking Center clients and make appropriate recommendations.

Consistently meets and exceeds defined sales goals for loans, deposits, partner referrals, and profitability.

Promotes the sales culture within the banking center by selling and cross-selling the Bank's products and services to reach individual and team sales goals.

Communicates and partners effectively with branch staff and peers to promote a team environment.

Monitor performance against banking center goals and adjust individual goals and promotions as needed.

Execute outbound calling activities inside the banking center; cross-sell and make appropriate business line referrals as defined by location goals.

Set priorities and implement defined sales and service activities.

Promote company products and services in the community to support growth.

Support day-to-day operations including customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash controls, inventory, audit, and compliance requirements.

Actively participate in regular sales and staff meetings.

Provide service to customers and prospective customers on banking matters, including explanations of products and professional problem resolution.

Build successful working relationships with internal partners and seek constructive peer feedback when appropriate.

Demonstrate sound judgment and follow established guidelines, using appropriate resources as needed.

Maintain security controls to protect against crime and fraud and protect sensitive information.

Contribute in a team environment to service customer needs and support the success of the Banking Center.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma required.

Banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service experience preferred.

Supervisory or leadership skills desired.

Must be willing to register and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and banking software; strong computer skills.

Strong consumer lending skills preferred with understanding of consumer lending products.

Ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling and internal business development.

Ability to interact effectively with customers and clearly communicate concepts verbally and in writing.

Strong product knowledge for selling and cross-selling expectations.

Ability to interpret instructions furnished in various formats.

Sound mathematical and analytical skills preferred.

Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and be flexible.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Must be available to work all hours of operations.
