What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collect, compile, and enter client data in Epic to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions
Address internal and external inquiries regarding patient accounts and billing questions
Notify the Manager/Director of any issues that could affect claim submissions or payments
Maintain Epic Work queues by correcting and resubmitting claims before filing deadlines
Foster effective communication and collaboration within and between departments
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience
Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and Medicare billing processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in EHR and EPM systems
Ability to perform additional duties as assigned
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a healthcare-related billing role
Familiarity with Epic systems or similar electronic health record platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills across various departments
