About the Role As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. On occasion you may work with other products from partner companies at the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details Hourly pay:

$13.25 – $15.25 depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

Variable; 10–12 hours per week, including weekends and days surrounding major holidays.

Your Role & Responsibilities You’ll perform service work in Hallmark departments across various retail stores. Responsibilities include:

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the department. Communicate with supervisors, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.

Holiday support:

Work additional days and extended hours during busy holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, sometimes on the holiday itself.

Department resets:

Participate in installations and fixture setups, relocate card departments, and reset sections as scheduled (often with two‑week notice). Tasks may occur evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration:

Support other merchandisers as needed throughout the field organization.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role. You will push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Duties involve kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using ladders.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old.

Proficient reading, writing, and understanding of English.

Capability to lift 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.

Operate a digital handheld device for data entry.

Access to Wi‑Fi and Internet.

Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores on schedule.
