Job Overview

The AI Strategy Manager is accountable for the success of T-Mobile's AI-powered products, platforms, and experiences. This role identifies opportunities at the intersection of unmet customer needs, technical feasibility, business objectives, funding availability, and cross-functional stakeholder leadership to deliver the opportunity. The AI Strategy Manager frames complex problems, performs detailed analysis, presents thoughtful recommendations, and guides strategic and operational decisions impacting business growth. The role uses data from internal and external sources to identify trends and opportunities, communicates complex data clearly, and works cross-functionally to drive strategy adoption and execution. This role requires customer empathy, strategic thinking, and analytical expertise to build a strategy behind AI-powered platforms that deliver contextual and personalized interactions to drive growth and enhance customer experience. T-Mobile requires U.S. citizenship for certain roles within the organization. This role requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals hired into this role will be required to submit documentation proving U.S. citizenship within the first 7 days of hire; failure to do so will result in termination. Job Responsibilities

Leverage a hypothesis-based approach to structure and perform analyses, extract and analyze data, and tackle ambiguous and complex problems. Identify meaningful business insights and present findings to drive strategic decisions. Generate recommendations for the long-term strategy of AI-driven products; provide input to road map prioritization. Partner across teams to understand critical business needs, identify key issues, and structure problem-solving approaches. Collaborate cross-functionally to build buy-in and influence strategic vision. Communicate, influence, and present ideas at Director level and below. Deliver product presentations, craft strategic narratives from data, and present complex analytical findings in a clear, decision-impacting manner. Influence leadership through fact-based analysis. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of strategic frameworks, industry trends, and drivers to improve, re-engineer, or maintain performance. Develop product requirements and specifications to drive and support technical delivery; define release scope for increments, partner with development, project/program management, marketing, and other stakeholders; support go-to-market activities as needed. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify product innovation opportunities or root causes of issues; assess opportunity size and impact. May work with data scientists to answer complex questions or extract insights from data. Conduct ad hoc analyses and provide insights to management on request. Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by management. Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or related field (Required) Master's/Advanced Degree (MBA – Finance, Strategy, Economics) (Preferred) 4-7 years of Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues, and providing data-driven recommendations. 4-7 years of experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. 4-7 years of Project Management experience, including independently managing projects, engaging stakeholders, and creating roadmaps and project plans. Management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or other experience requiring quantitative analysis. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience. The starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic incentive based on role.
