Mark Henry is a New York–based fine jewelry house with over 40 years of heritage, specializing in rare gemstones and bold gold design. We’re expanding our creative collaborations and are seeking a
hands-on jewelry designer with CAD and production experience
to support model development and sampling for a new capsule collection.
This is a
part-time / freelance role based in NYC , ideal for someone who loves the intersection of design, CAD, and real-world production execution.
Responsibilities:
Translate creative direction into CAD-ready jewelry models
Iterate designs efficiently based on ongoing feedback
Coordinate with casters, setters, and workshops to move samples forward
Review prototypes and troubleshoot production issues
Keep timelines moving through organized follow-ups and vendor communication
Support gemstone and component sourcing as needed
Qualifications
2–6 years experience in jewelry design and production
Proficient in CAD (Rhino / Matrix or similar)
Familiar with casting, stone setting, and workshop processes
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple iterations
Willing to be hands‑on — visiting workshops, reviewing samples, problem-solving
NYC-based and available part‑time/freelance
