Overview
The Customer Service Specialist is essential to the success of our Automotive branches. The Customer Service Specialist works closely with our customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our Automotive Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. The role involves promptly resolving customer concerns and ensuring maximum client satisfaction. The associate is responsible for receiving and preparing orders and safely moving, loading, and delivering products. This is a part-time position based at Automotive Branch #9304 located at W4928 Highline Road, Kaukauna, WI 54130. The work schedule aligns with the branch's hours of operation, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with specific hours determined by business needs and subject to change.
Responsibilities
Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule in a safe and timely manner (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Load and unload products from deliveries
Operate all material handling, tinting, mixing and testing equipment in a safe manner
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks/pallet jacks, carts, etc.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
Process sales transactions in the POS accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ensure that the stockroom is organized
Comply with inventory control procedures and assist with bi-annual inventory review
Complete Monthly and Quarterly Safety Training
Assist with the Physical Inventory Process, which is conducted semi-annually
Assist in promoting sales specials and initiatives
Based on business needs, keyholder responsibilities include completing Branch Opening and end-of-day procedures and making nightly bank deposits
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales
Preferred Qualifications:
Have at least one (1) year of work experience in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch, or in automotive Industry
Have at least two (2) years of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales
Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, etc.)
Have at least a High School diploma or GED
