Position Overview The Associate Director of Advertiser Account Managementis the operational and people leader responsible for the success of Aragon Premium’s advertiser organization. This role owns advertiser performance, profit outcomes, and team execution across the affiliate network, ensuring clients scale efficiently whilemaintainingquality, compliance, and margin discipline.

This role assumes day-to-day ownership of advertiser team leadership previously managed by the VP of Revenue, allowing executive leadership to focus on strategy, enterprise relationships, and company-wide growth initiatives.

The Associate Director serves as:

The

Accountable owner of advertiser outcomes.

The

leader of the Advertiser Account Manager team .

The

internal face of Aragon Premium ,representingperformance, risks, and wins to leadership and the broader company.

Key Responsibilities

Directly manage the Advertiser Account Manager team within Aragon Premium.

Conduct weekly 1:1s focused on performance, prioritization, account strategy, and career development.

Lead weekly advertiser team meetings, performance reviews, and planning sessions.

Set clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability standards across the team.

Balance workloads and coverage to ensure scalability and service consistency.

Provide hands-on coaching for complex advertiser relationships and negotiations.

Manage performance issues, development plans, and promotion readiness.

Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and performance excellence.

Maintain senior-level oversight of all advertiser campaigns running on the Aragon Premium network.

Support AMs with launch strategy, optimization direction, scaling plans, and troubleshooting.

Act as the primary escalation point for advertiser performance, relationship, or strategic issues.

Partner with AMs on budget discussions, rate negotiations, renewals, and upsell opportunities.

Ensure advertiser KPIs, quality benchmarks, and margin targets are consistently met.

Drive proactive optimization thinking across rewarded, content, paid social, influencer, and programmatic traffic sources.

Profit Ownership & Target Setting

Own advertiser team profit targets on a

monthly, quarterly, and annual

basis.

Translate company revenue goals into clear, achievable targets for the advertiser team.

Monitor pacing, margin health, concentration risk, and revenue quality throughout the quarter.

Identify risks early and implement corrective actions to protect profitability.

Partner with Finance and Revenue leadership on forecasting and performance reviews.

Process Ownership & Operational Excellence

Own and continuously improve advertiser-side processes including:

Client onboarding and launch readiness.

Offer setup and internal handoffs.

Optimization and reporting cadence.

Renewals, expansions, and contract transitions.

Ensure consistent adherence to workflows, documentation, and best practices.

Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that increase team output.

Partner with RevOps and Analytics to improve reporting, automation, and visibility.

Fraud Prevention, Compliance & Risk Management

Maintain accountability for advertiser impact related to fraud, quality issues, and chargebacks.

Ensure incentivized and high-risk offers have appropriate technical setup and fraud mitigation prior to launch.

Act as the advertiser-facing owner during fraud investigations and sensitive escalations.

Decide when risk is acceptable vs when action is required to protect clients and the business.

Escalate material financial or reputational risk to executive leadership with clear context and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with the

Sr. Director of Affiliate Development & Strategic Partnerships

to:

Align advertiser demand with affiliate supply.

Evaluate traffic quality and scalability.

Resolve performance conflicts between advertiser expectations and affiliate realities.

Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and RevOps on:

Client handoffs and expectations.

IOs, rate cards, and billing accuracy.

Performance disputes and resolution.

Serve as the internal decision-maker when tradeoffs are required.

Executive Communication & Internal Representation

Act as the

primary internal representative of Aragon Premium advertiser operations .

Lead regular leadership updates to communicate:

Current business performance.

Key wins and growth drivers.

Risks, constraints, and mitigation plans.

Provide clear, data-backed executive summaries rather than operational noise.

Participate in leadership meetings as the voice of advertiser performance and network health.

Represent Aragon Premium in company-wide updates, overviews, and strategic discussions.

Qualifications Experience

6–8+ years in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or advertiser account management.

3+ years managing or leading client-facing teams.

Experience in affiliate networks, ad networks, or performance agencies.

Proven ownership of revenue, profit, and client outcomes.

Technical & Analytical Skills

Strong understanding of affiliate and mobile performance marketing ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with platforms such as Everflow, Impact Radius, Appsflyer, Adjust, Kochava, or similar.

Strong analytical skills with Excel.

Comfort working with KPIs, margins, forecasting, and performance data.

Confident people leader with strong coaching instincts.

Ability to balance empathy with accountability.

Clear communicator with strong executive presence.

Organized, process-oriented, and detail-driven.
