Assist in developing and implementing all seasonal activities. Provide personalized experiential recreation opportunities to all guests. Lead individual, small group, and large group activities, games, and instructional classes. Work is performed in accordance with the departmental rules, regulations, and safety practices. Incumbents in this class may be rotated or transferred to other facilities and/or assignments based on department or seasonal needs. Qualifications
Enthusiasm for outdoor adventures! College degree in Education, Athletics, Sports, Recreation, Tourism or related field, preferred Experience with outdoor recreation, programming, leadership or child care/camp programs preferred Life guard certification is a plus Customer service experience Ability to be active in outdoor adventure activities all day Outdoor technical or naturalist experience is a plus Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work holiday weeks and Thursdays- Sundays.
