
Outside Sales Representative - Beverage Industry 1440-26

Overview
The Yahnis Company, one of the largest family-owned wholesale beverage distributors in South Carolina, is seeking full-time outside sales representatives for our Florence based sales team. Established outside sales routes. Customers are licensed alcohol retailers. No cold calls. Available: 2 Large Format Grocery Route, 1 Convenience Store Route. Compensation: Commission, Annual Target $50-$60k. Schedule: 5 day work week (4 workdays, 1 weekend day). Responsibilities
Develop and manage outside sales routes with licensed alcohol retailers in the Florence, SC area. Present and promote company products, pricing, and promotions; execute pricing and promotional plans. Follow and execute a sales plan; meet performance standards and deliver consistent execution. Utilize company vehicle and gas card for route purposes; maintain safe driving practices. Analyze account needs and tailor product programs, promotions, and merchandising materials. Attend meetings and training sessions as required. Adhere to all product handling procedures and comply with company policies and state/local regulations governing the sale and marketing of alcoholic beverages. Maintain strong customer focus and interpersonal communication; deliver effective presentations. Qualifications
Must complete employment application and provide 3 year driving record from DMV. Minimum age: 21 years old due to products containing alcohol. Ability to push/pull/lift/carry heavy product. Ability to operate a smartphone, tablet/computer; proficient with Excel and Word. Valid driver’s license; use of company vehicle and gas card for route purposes. Sales experience with beer sales and distribution preferred; working knowledge of applicable policies and regulations. Strong customer focus; ability to rapidly analyze account needs and sell-in appropriate products, programs, promotions, and merchandising materials. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills; safety-conscious. Must be able to meet the job requirements in a physically demanding environment. Benefits
