Regional Sales Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Manager / Outside Sales is required to join a well-established, global manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment.
Regional Sales Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Manager / Outside Sales will ideally have experience working for an industrial manufacturer and managing distributor and channel partner networks. Experience within pumps is highly desirable (centrifugal pumps preferred); however, candidates from valves, flow control, instrumentation, or other engineered industrial products will also be considered.
This is a senior, territory and channel management–focused role, responsible for developing and growing an established distribution and partner network, rather than a pure new-business or hunter-led position.

$110,000 – $130,000 base

Regional Sales Manager / Channel Manager / Distribution Manager / Outside Sales Role
Managing a well-established Western territory including California, Texas, Arizona, the Pacific Northwest, and Mountain States
Full ownership of existing distributor and channel partner relationships across the region
Training, developing, and supporting distributor and channel partner sales teams through product updates, joint calls, and ride-alongs
Driving sustainable territory growth through effective account, distributor, and channel management
Identifying and onboarding new distributors or channel partners where required; exiting underperforming partners where necessary
Acting as the primary regional contact for distributors, channel partners, and selected key accounts
Working closely with internal sales, engineering, and applications teams
Regular state-to-state travel, primarily via air, with some drive-based travel within California
Attending distributor meetings, channel reviews, industry events, and customer visits as required

Proven experience working for an industrial manufacturer
Strong background in channel management, distribution management, and account management
Pump industry experience strongly preferred (centrifugal pumps ideal), though transferable industrial product experience considered
Background within valves, flow control, instrumentation, or rotating equipment advantageous
Demonstrated stability and tenure in previous roles
Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical products and applications
Comfortable managing a large geographic territory with frequent travel
Degree not essential; quality of experience and practical understanding valued
Strong communication, relationship-building, and territory ownership skills
