Job Description
A fast-growing HVAC business in Central New Jersey is seeking a driven and hands-on HVAC Sales Manager to take ownership of its sales function and fuel the next phase of growth. This is not a desk-bound role. It’s a front-line leadership position for a sales professional who thrives on closing deals while building and leading a high-performing sales operation.
As the HVAC Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping sales strategy, driving revenue, and representing the business in the market. You will manage the full sales cycle end-to-end while maintaining your own active pipeline of residential and/or commercial sales appointments.
Responsibilities
Lead and grow the HVAC sales function to consistently exceed revenue targets
Personally conduct in-home and/or commercial sales appointments
Develop, implement, and continuously refine sales strategies and processes
Train, mentor, and support current and future sales team members
Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and key KPIs
Collaborate closely with ownership and operations to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction
Act as a professional ambassador for the business across the Central New Jersey market
Qualifications Requirements
Proven experience in HVAC or home services sales is essential
Previous sales management or team leadership experience is highly advantageous
Strong closing ability with a consultative, customer-focused sales approach
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
