Position Summary
The Sales Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and PV modules in the Northern European market. The role focuses on account development, new customer acquisition, and market expansion, while closely collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution across both product lines.
Contribute to regional sales and marketing strategies for ESS and PV modules in the Northern European market
Actively manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities for both ESS and PV module solutions
Own end-to-end sales activities for assigned customers, including commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and after-sales coordination
Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers
Collect and analyse market intelligence (competitors, pricing, regulations, customer needs) related to energy storage and solar markets
Support brand positioning and market presence through customer engagement and industry activities
Coordinate closely with presales, HQ counterparts, logistics, operations, and service teams to ensure accurate solution design, smooth order execution, and high customer satisfaction
Performance Indicators
Revenue and/or order intake for ESS and PV modules vs. target
Pipeline development and conversion rate across both product lines
New customer acquisition in ESS and PV segments
Customer retention and satisfaction
Forecast accuracy and CRM data quality
Your profile Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the PV and/or ESS industry
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Solid understanding of PV and energy storage market dynamics and policies in Northern European countries
Existing customer network in the region is a strong advantage
English : C1 (professional working proficiency); Northern European language : C1 (professional working proficiency)
Strong commercial and negotiation skills across complex technical solutions
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build long-term partnerships
Self-driven, accountable, and results-oriented
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organisation
Travel Requirement
Regular regional travel within Northern Europe as required
Occasional travel within Europe as required
