It attracts and generates new customers and cross-sells existing customers in support of our product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. The position sells to walk-in customers and markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships that promote growth and assist customers in the office. Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits. Attract and generate new customers; cross-sell to existing customers across product offerings (Auto, Life, Auto Club, Roadside Assistance). Build rapport and trust to support profitable growth and attainment of business goals. Develop and maintain a book of business within the market/retail location. Collaborate with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals. Deliver results within metrics for quality, productivity, timeliness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while complying with rules, procedures, and standards. Understand and stay current on underwriting guidelines and company policies. Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports. Minimum Qualifications
0 - 2 years of experience P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company Preferred Skills and Competencies
Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross-sell/retention Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and active presence in the community to create centers of influence and referral sources (car dealerships, local events, community organizations, etc.) Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings Monitors local market competitors and suggests initiatives to improve the company’s position Plans and manages marketing and sales processes with Direct Sales Leadership to achieve production and growth goals Delivers optimal results using appropriate metrics (quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance) and adheres to policies and standards Understands, promotes, and stays current on underwriting guidelines and memos related to policy changes Receives customer payments and issues receipts Compensation Base compensation: $20.00 per hour Total compensation may include incentive pay (commissions and bonuses) based on individual and team performance EEO and Additional Information National General Holdings Corp. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
