GENERAL FUNCTION Manage a territory of accounts, in the optical industry, as part of the Independent Eyecare Sales team at Nassau OOGP Vision Group & Optisource. Nassau OOGP Vision Group, part of EssilorLuxottica, distributes contact lenses, ophthalmic stock lenses, and optical accessories to the optical industry across the United States.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work and communicate effectively with all members of the team
Deliver effective sales presentations via phone and e-mail
Use consultative selling approach with customers to drive sales and establish business partnerships
Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and establishing new relationships with clients, agencies, and partners
Organize and set activities using our CRM system, corporate tools, and software applications to document, monitor status, and meet sales objectives account list
Maintain a calendar of proactive phone calls to current accounts
Identify prospects in target markets that align with department and company objectives
Work with management to develop, and execute, a conversion plan to increase sales for the team
Use all marketing support and training materials to promote account growth
Present a professional image and represent the company in line with the company's principles and values
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a broad brand of optical products; applying that knowledge
Appropriately, and effectively, in selling situations
Maintain relationship with other company sales partners to jointly grow territories
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
AA/AS degree preferred or equivalent related 1-2 years of experience in successful inside/outside sales involving persuasive interactions
Telephone sales experience; making 50+ calls per day
Strong interpersonal skills, i.e., flexibility, adaptability, and a proven ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent ability to learn necessary computer skills; knowledge of Google Suites a plus
Proven record of learning a company's operating system and CRM
Must be able to handle multiple, concurrent tasks at one time
Must have ability to learn, and develop, a working knowledge of the optical industry and our products: Soft Contact Lenses, Spectacle Lenses and Glasses

Pay Range: 24.03-37.67
