Business Development Specialist
to expand its presence in the Detroit, MI area. Target customers include Custom Home builders, Residential Interior Designers, Architects, Home Technology Integrators, and Electrical Contractors. The ideal candidate has experience selling directly to Residential Interior Designers, Custom Homes Builders, and Architects. They are also a relationship-driven salesperson who thrives in a consultative environment and is motivated by both hunting for new business and expanding existing accounts. Responsibilities
Drive all stages of the sales cycle, working cross-functionally with internal marketing and operations teams to develop tailored solutions. Conduct regular in-person meetings with new and existing customers to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and grow sales. Deliver compelling value-proposition presentations to influence purchasing decisions. Proactively network with Custom Home Builders, Interior Designers, and Residential Architects through industry associations and community involvement. Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure retention, customer satisfaction, and incremental growth. Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a consultative sales environment. 1+ years of experience selling products or solutions to Interior Designers and Custom Home Builders or within the residential construction/design space. Demonstrated success in relationship building and consistent achievement of sales targets. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Genuine interest in the design, architecture, and residential construction markets.
