JLL has a great opportunity to join our growing Retail Open Air Property Management Team overseeing a portfolio in the NJ/NY area.
*This position can be Remote (Work from home) but must live near the NJ/NY area to visit properties in the portfolio.
Job Scope NOI and direct management oversight of assigned retail properties in order to maximize asset value on behalf of JLL clients. Specific responsibilities include property management, operations, maintenance, client and tenant relations, supporting the leasing team, marketing, collections, annual budgeting, risk management and financial reporting (including working with accounting staff to provide accurate and detailed financial statements as required by owner); sourcing relationships to develop new business opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop, articulate and implement business plans for each assigned property, consistent with the owners’ needs and objectives to maximize asset value and NOI.
Provide monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting as required by client.
Oversee contractors and maintenance personnel at properties to ensure they are maintained properly and as required.
Build relationships to retain current business, expand opportunities with existing clients and leverage that in pursuit of additional clients and business opportunities.
Understand the leasing process and effectively support the broker/agency leasing team.
Financial Performance
Project and achieve budgeted financial goals as outlined in the approved annual operating budget while adding value to the property(s) with prudent management and business decisions.

What We’re Looking For
College graduate preferred.
Real Estate License required within 90 days.
At least 2–4 years’ experience in commercial property management, with multiple property responsibilities in Retail preferred.
In‑depth understanding of the financial aspects of property performance.
Competency using Microsoft Office, navigating the internet and general use of personal computer.

Estimated compensation for this position:
85,000.00 – 95,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions and internal considerations.
