Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling and crew management.
Oversee paving equipment needs, repair, and reinforcement of continuous quality improvement in laydown and compaction.
Maintain crew performance and quality control on all road and highway construction projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years at the field level, laying and finishing asphalt.
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; CDL desired but not required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong self‑directed, motivated, and ethical standard for personal and business conduct.
Capability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
Willingness to travel to various project locations and to work in variable weather and dirty/dusty conditions.
Union membership required or willingness to become a union member at the time of employment.
