Business Development Representative
– Position Summary: To create and maintain local food service business according to established company guidelines to increase company sales and profits. Responsibilities
Sell equipment, products and promotions to new and existing customers to satisfy customers' needs. Works in conjunction with customers to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through proper use of equipment, products, sales contracts, communication of price/value, and securing additional space at the retailer's location. Completes and maintains proper paperwork (e.g. Equipment Move Orders, contracts, credit applications, ROI analysis). Maintains confidentiality of financial information, customer contracts, pricing, return on investments, payments, and other sensitive and confidential information. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Communicate with customers and co-workers on issues regarding installations, pricing, products, promotions or problems that arise at the retailer's location to ensure resolution to customer service issues. Understands, prepares and monitors ROI's to maximize company sales and profitability. Education
2 Year / associate degree in marketing, Sales Management or closely related field or equivalent work experience required. 4 Year / bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales Management or closely related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience
1 - 3 years of marketing or sales experience with a consumer product line. Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Certifications & Licenses
Valid Driver's License: employees must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment. Other Requirements
Knowledge of beverage industry; standard selling practices; G&J Pepsi-Cola departmental structure and product line; vending machines, coolers, refrigerators, fountain and other equipment; pricing structures; marketing; promotions; Microsoft Office Suite. Skill in: internal and external customer service. Ability to: accurately measure areas using a tape measure; multi-task; work quickly, efficiently and independently; communicate effectively with customers and other employees both verbally and in writing; anticipate and satisfy customer\'s needs; develop and maintain good working relationships; adapt to change; operate a forklift, motorized pallet jack, walkie rider, computer; delegate; problem solve; perform basic math functions (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
