Brand Manager for JUSTIN
will develop and refine the consumer marketing strategy for JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners on marketing plan development, implementation, and all new packaging development for these high-growth brands. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. We operate with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday. Responsibilities
Lead annual brand planning process: set calendar, coordinate cross-functional activities, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of deliverables; oversee effective execution of marketing plans and campaigns. Develop and communicate compelling brand positions and USPs; provide creative direction and ensure alignment with target audiences. Use category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive product development and marketing initiatives. Partner with Sales and Consumer Insights & Innovation to stay on top of industry activity and trends; monitor distribution, brand share, promotional effectiveness, and category trends; provide strategic recommendations to leadership. Manage new product development initiatives for base business and innovation; project-manage cross-functional activities for on-time launches and consistent brand positioning. Write creative briefs and manage in-house creative agency; ensure consistent creative execution and integrated campaigns. Develop and manage marketing budget for the Brand. Build collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Development, Hospitality and DTC teams. Qualifications
5 years in brand management or consumer marketing within CPG; adult beverage and/or wine experience is a plus. Alcohol industry experience or knowledge of the three-tier system is a plus. Excellent project management skills; strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration. Solid understanding of advertising, digital/social, consumer promotions, POS, PR, and syndicated data (e.g., IRI or Nielsen). Experience with new product development and launching in cross-functional settings. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. MBA strongly preferred; BA required. Growth Path
In this role, the Brand Manager will deepen expertise in luxury wine marketing, brand strategy, consumer insights, creative development, and cross-functional leadership. This role provides a springboard to senior-level and director-level marketing roles, with potential to integrate brand marketing with Trade Marketing and Direct-to-Consumer strategies. Your Team
This role will manage a team of one Associate Brand Manager. Working Conditions
Hybrid schedule (3 days in LA office, 2 days WFH) with travel to JUSTIN winery locations (Paso Robles, CA) as needed (up to 25%) and to in-market events and sales meetings (up to 25%). Pay Range
$135,000 - $140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience. Additional Information
