Freelance Graphic Designer
– The fashion brand Selkie is seeking a talented
Graphic Designer
to bring our campaigns to life across digital touchpoints, translating creative direction into elevated, editorial-level design.
Position Summary As a Graphic Designer at Selkie, you will collaborate closely with our Creative Director, Brand, and Content teams to design launch assets across
email, web, social media, and special projects . This role demands a refined eye for detail, strong typography skills, and the ability to execute highly specific creative direction with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Design launch graphics for monthly and seasonal collections
Create email designs (hero layouts, type treatments, visual systems) in collaboration with copy and content teams
Develop social assets across formats (Instagram feed, stories, Reels covers, etc.)
Design digital invites and branded assets for events, activations, and special moments
Translate creative briefs, mood boards, and references into polished, on-brand visuals
Execute typography-forward layouts with an editorial, luxury sensibility
Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining consistency and design integrity
Organize and deliver final assets according to platform and production requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer for fashion, beauty, or luxury brands
Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial layouts, typography, and digital campaign work
Exceptional typography skills and attention to spacing, hierarchy, and composition
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Ability to follow creative direction closely and execute with precision
Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight launch deadlines
Experience designing for email and digital platforms is required
Familiarity with fashion launches, campaign calendars, and fast-paced environments is a plus
Location: Remote / Hybrid in Pasadena CA
