Intrinsic is a Michigan-based cannabis operator focused on Cultivation, Manufacturing and Processing. We are seeking a results-driven Director of Marketing to lead our brand strategy, product launches, and customer retention initiatives in a highly regulated landscape.
Position Overview
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development and execution of all strategic marketing plans to drive market share and brand equity. This role requires a balance of high-level strategic planning and hands-on tactical execution. You will oversee digital strategy, PR, event management, and retail marketing while ensuring 100% compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Product Marketing Product Launches:
Develop and lead comprehensive marketing plans for new varieties, hardware, and packaging. Market Growth:
Execute data-driven strategies to support expansion objectives using customer segmentation and A/B testing. Competitive Analysis:
Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor tactics, and internal sales data to refine positioning. Lifecycle Marketing:
Design and manage loyalty programs and retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value. Digital & Social Media Management Omnichannel Strategy:
Oversee all digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and high engagement. Influencer & Ambassador Programs:
Manage the strategy and ROI of social influencer partnerships and brand ambassador programs. Performance Tracking:
Measure and report on the effectiveness and ROI of all digital and social media campaigns. PR & Brand Activations Public Relations:
Lead the company’s PR strategy and provide direct marketing support to the CEO. Events & Promotions:
Plan and implement online and in-store promotional activities and consumer-facing events. Tactical Execution:
Prioritize and manage workflow for specific product varieties and promotional packages. Required Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of marketing leadership experience. Industry Background:
Professional experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) is
required . Experience in Cannabis, Alcohol, or Tobacco is highly preferred. Education:
Bachelor20 9s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). Technical Proficiency:
Advanced familiarity with project management and workflow platforms (Asana, BrandFolder, Microsoft Teams). Compliance:
Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis compliance, advertising restrictions, and customer privacy regulations. Physical Demands/Environment
Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; use close, distance, color and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus; depth perception.
