$15.00 per hour(Position is FWS Eligible)**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**1. Answer phones and enter issues into IT ticket system.2. Assist users with software and hardware problems.3. Assist with the installation, maintenance, and replacement of computer equipment and multimedia systems.4. Perform general housekeeping tasks on college owned equipment to ensure clean and sanitized technology equipment.5. Assist with live events, webinars, and video conferencing.6. Assist with the daily reservation, distribution, and setup of college owned equipment.7. Perform general office responsibilities, including data entry and working with inventory.8. Perform related other duties as assigned**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**1. GPA of 2.0 or above.2. Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours.3. High School diploma or equivalent.4. Excellent Customer Service skills.5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.6. Attentiveness to detail, excellent organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking.7. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**1. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.2. English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.3. Demonstrated multicultural competence.4. Knowledge of AV and Service Desk best practices and some recent work experience.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**1. Ability to kneel, bend, and lift is preferred but not mandatory. Accommodations and flexible task assignments are available as needed2. Power tools might be used.**WORKING CONDITIONS**Most duties performed indoors; some exterior may be required.**Scheduled Weekly Hours:** This is a student employee position that works around your class schedule. May work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
