
Inside Sales Representative

Chesapeake Search Partnersis partnering with a growing electrical services company to find an Inside Sales Estimating Coordinator. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person who enjoys people, numbers, and moving a high volume of bids from intake to win. You’ll manage quotes and CRM activity, drive disciplined follow-up, and support the estimating team on small commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Maintain bid logs, proposal trackers, and opportunity databases; organize and prioritize incoming RFQs.
Coordinate bid schedules and deadlines with internal teams; prepare complete proposal documents.
Contact clients/GCs/vendors to confirm bid receipt, gauge interest, and document status in the CRM.
Build rapport across key accounts; capture feedback, identify upsell opportunities, and log reasons for losses.
Support learning and estimating workflows; shadow estimators/PMs and assist with pricing, scopes, and vendor relations.
Participate in training on estimating software, electrical systems, bid strategies, and best practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
Strong organization, time-management, and detail orientation; excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable adopting new software and daily CRM usage.
Interest in learning the electrical contracting industry and supporting small commercial projects.
Openness to structured sales/communication training (e.g., Sandler, DISC)
