
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to be responsible for the sale of Vertiv Aftermarket Maintenance Services, including Professional Assessments, Battery and Capacitor Replacements, within an assigned territory. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, including the renewal of existing maintenance contracts, selling new contracts for equipment coming out of warranty, and converting non-contract customers or third-party service agreements to Vertiv Services. Additionally, driving sales for the Vertiv Growth Initiative is a critical aspect of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the complete sales cycle for Vertiv Aftermarket services, from lead generation to closing deals.
Pursue warranty renewals and service contract opportunities for Vertiv’s core products, specifically Thermal and A/C Power.
Conduct sales calls with existing and potential customers to raise awareness and drive business for Vertiv’s service offerings.
Collaborate with equipment sales representatives to quote and promote service contracts alongside Vertiv Thermal and Power equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS required), with a preference for degrees in Engineering or Business (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
5 years of experience in sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering strong customer relationships.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and resolve client issues.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience using CRM systems.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a technical or service‑related field, ideally within power management or critical infrastructure sectors.

Compensation The overall anticipated total compensation package for this role is between $102,607 to $136,810 per year, inclusive of base salary and eligibility for a monthly sales incentive plan. Since monthly incentive compensation is variable, performance‑based, and not guaranteed, the estimated base salary range for this role in the State of CT is between $61,564 to $82,068 per year; salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to receive and/or participate in profit sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the employee’s role and individual offer details. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k.
