This position is responsible for ensuring the maximum level of retail sales penetration and market share growth of JCB Access and Mobile Elevated Work Platform products. Territory includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. Position Type
Full Time, Exempt Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Exceeds annual sales targets and increases market share Participates in the development of annual business plans and proposals with customers Proactively canvasses new/potential rental house customers as appropriate Identifies opportunities and develops strategies to improve revenue and profitability Maintains excellent product and application knowledge of JCB and competitive equipment Communicates effectively and collaborates with Field Sales and Product Support Teams Submits weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual production forecasts to align production with territory opportunities Monitors market trends related to current products, new product development, and opportunities within the territory Manages and submits weekly T&E expenses within budget and guidelines Maintains company-owned assets including vehicles, equipment, and computers Performs other duties/projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years outside sales experience Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets Demonstrated success in lead generation and business development Proven ability to analyze and forecast trends Strong relationship management skills Strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, listening) Ability to manage and maintain peer and business relationships with integrity and trust Preferred Qualifications
5+ years outside sales experience in mobile elevated work platforms BA/BS in Business or related field Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Comfortable in an in-person office environment Technical competence is a plus Customer service oriented, flexible, and high energy Excellent follow-through skills Professional, polished demeanor; comfortable in most social settings Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Desire and ability to learn and grow Job Conditions
