National Account Manager
to lead and manage strategic client relationships on a national scale. This role serves as the senior commercial representative for the organization, responsible for driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring consistent execution across national accounts and key partners. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in national sales—particularly with Big-Box retail customers—along with the confidence, leadership, and strategic mindset required to influence results across geographically dispersed teams. Key Responsibilities Establish, manage, and track national sales objectives and performance targets Serve as the primary senior point of contact for national clients, fostering trusted, long-term partnerships Collaborate with internal account managers and sales teams to ensure consistent execution and account coverage nationwide Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal development for national accounts Oversee account health, ensuring service standards, contract commitments, and customer expectations are met Act as an escalation point for client issues, complaints, and inquiries, driving timely resolution Identify and promote new products, programs, and growth opportunities within national accounts Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging sales opportunities Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership regarding account performance and opportunities Qualifications & Requirements Proven sales background with demonstrated success managing
Big-Box retail or national accounts Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Decisive leader with the ability to influence, align, and motivate cross-functional teams Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities, with experience clearly communicating trends, results, and strategy to varied audiences Highly results-driven with a strong sense of urgency; resourceful, hands-on, and accountable for outcomes Customer-centric mindset with a focus on long-term partnership value and growth
