You’ll set standards and mentor the next generation of estimators, shaping how the department operates for years to come. Your experience will directly impact systems, workflows, and decision-making as the company continues to modernize and grow.
Company Story A well-established commercial roofing contractor based in Portland, Oregon is entering an exciting new phase of growth and modernization. The company generates approximately $12M in annual revenue and is known for delivering high-quality commercial re-roofing projects across the local market, particularly within the education and public-sector space. With new private ownership in place, the business is actively investing in modern systems, improved processes, CRM tools, and digital timekeeping, while maintaining the deep technical expertise of a high-tenure workforce. Several long-standing team members are approaching retirement, creating a strong opportunity for experienced professionals to step in and be the next generation of leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
Prepare accurate estimates for $1M–$3M commercial roofing projects
Focus primarily on commercial re-roofing (95% of work)
Review plans, specs, and scopes to develop complete bids
Work closely with project managers and operations teams
Mentor and support junior estimators
Help improve estimating processes as systems are upgraded
What You’ll Need
Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator
Ability to manage bids independently from start to finish
Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems
Comfortable working in a company transitioning from traditional methods to modern tools
Professional, reliable, and performance-driven
