Responsibilities DESCRIPTION:
C Lazy U Ranch is looking for an experienced Fly-Fishing Guide with a passion for leading walk-wade fly fishing adventures in the Colorado Rockies. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an endorsed program at one of the premier guest ranches in Colorado. In addition to guiding guests on the river, you will work managing fishing rental equipment and instructing casting clinics on the ranch pond.
Lead walk and wade fly fishing trips.
Maintain all waders, rods, and other spin fishing equipment.
Sell and promote the ranch fishing program to book trips.
Instruct casting clinics on ranch pond.
Provide 5-star level hospitality to guests and clients.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be available to work May 1st to October 15th
First Aid and CPR certification
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience guiding clients on walk and wade fly fishing trips
Extensive knowledge of fly-fishing techniques and equipment
Work harmoniously with all other guides as well as other ranch personnel.
Valid driver’s license
Sincere desire to exceed guest expectations.
Physical Requirements
Team members must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time, squatting, kneeling, bending, carrying, and walking in swift river currents.
