Job Summary

The Corporate Sales Representative is responsible for increasing membership sales by offering discounted memberships to single points of contact at businesses, school districts, municipalities... Ideally, the largest employers in any market who in turn offer the discounts to their employees as an added employee benefit. The Corporate Sales Representative will report to the Director of Corporate Sales and be involved in all aspects of the program membership growth through field generated lead follow-up and direct targeted sales. This unique position will oversee sales in a specific multi-city region or vertical market (e.g., schools, hospitals), often with direct contact with the targeted company, their employees, and multiple internal contact levels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Managing customer contacts with Businesses, School Districts, Municipalities, Hospitals, Apartment Complexes. Often at the corporate level and comfortable dealing with senior management and knowing how to reach them. Take a consultative approach to sales, speaking on behalf of the fitness industry while helping various businesses meet their needs and the interests of their employees—often helping them recognize these needs and how Planet Fitness meets them. Manage all aspects of the sales process from initial contact to on-site launch (remotely), including management and distribution of collateral and individual company details. Able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Work with regional and individual club management to ensure all aspects of the program are understood. Launch new accounts to an individual club or region, ensuring Point of Sale signage is in place and monitoring new membership activity. Track leads and new opportunities. Must be comfortable overseeing an area remotely. Occasionally represent the company at networking, social, or company functions which may fall outside the regular work schedule; attendance may be required as needed. Procuring corporate contracts for memberships with access to delegated Planet Fitness El Paso-Las Cruces facilities. These may include small offices, large corporations, and/or city and county organizations. Required to cold call, visit various businesses, research ideal company profiles, attend meetings, host lunch meetings, attend functions, host membership recruitment/signup events, etc., to build relationships and secure membership contracts with designated merchant companies. Act as liaison between corporate customers and Planet Fitness El Paso-Las Cruces to ensure service, attention, and contract parameters are met. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to owners and/or Corporate Sales Director on the status of pending, current, and completed corporate deals. Ensure that all corporate accounts are completed, signed, and entered into the system in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all corporate accounts. Ensure that monthly dues, check payments, bank drafts, etc., associated with procured corporate accounts are paid correctly and on time, as verified by the Corporate Sales Director. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills & Qualifications

Ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service-oriented environment. Very strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. A passion for fitness and health. Ability to motivate, collaborate, and demonstrate strong team leadership skills. Upbeat and positive attitude. Willingness to travel as needed. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with clients, members, and co-workers. Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem-solve. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field. Prior sales experience minimum of 2 years’ experience. Must possess a current Driver’s License. Current CPR Certification. Physical Demands

Continual standing and walking during shift. Local outside sales calls involving driving. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation Type: Salary plus commission JOIN THE CLUB.
