The pay range per hour is $22.25 - $37.80. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position and may include labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. ALL ABOUT SPECIALTY SALES: A team of specialized consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver through strong operations, guest experience and compelling visual merchandising that inspires guests and builds the basket. Teams in Apparel and Accessories (A&A), Home, Baby, Beauty and Electronics prioritize guest experience while ensuring product is available and easy to shop – pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. The role of a Specialty Sales Team Leader can provide the skills and experience of: Guest service fundamentals and experience; building a guest-first culture on your team Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies Planning department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals Leading multiple businesses, balancing team member expertise and leading teams in each department Leading a team of hourly team members; including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent Responsibilities

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach team member expectations to deliver on our GUEST service model culture. Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences. Plan daily/weekly workload at the direction of your direct leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement; including planning merchandising sets, changes to merchandise sets (planograms), sales plans, events and promotions. Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. With direct leader guidance, develop, coach, and lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate. Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly business priorities set by your direct leader. Encourage the team to use tools available in their department to welcome, inspire and influence guests by providing personalized recommendations to complete their purchase. Partner with third-party vendors to ensure brand standards and merchandising are met and areas are full and maintained. Support the team's execution of changes and updates to merchandise sets and visual presentations for defined categories. Create inspiring visual moments by ensuring product is organized, signed correctly and merchandised to support seasonal trends. Support backroom processes, organization, layout and replenishment of the salesfloor to ensure product is available for guests. Participate in team hiring and onboarding processes. Lead your team in prioritizing the guest experience by ensuring the fitting rooms are welcoming, clean and safe if applicable to your assigned areas of responsibility. Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead and hold the team accountable to work in the same way. Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, and reporting injuries timely and accurately. Model the execution of physical security processes to enhance in-store security culture. Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store; including ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices. If applicable, follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier. Address all store emergency and compliance needs. Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, including compliance with federal, state and local adult beverage laws. Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you and your team complete daily tasks. Demonstrate how to engage with guests, provide assistance, and help solve their needs. Lead by thanking guests and show appreciation for their choice to shop at Target. All other duties based on business needs. Qualifications

You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members. You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success. You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times). High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age or older. Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. Lead and hold others accountable; effective communication skills; ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks; welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members; capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment.
