Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week between the business hours of 8am – 5pm.

Job Scope The purpose of the Inside Sales Specialist is to assist the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Managers in ensuring productivity and enhanced focus in the areas of customer acquisition, customer development, and customer maintenance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Enter pricing upon request from territory managers or the regional sales manager.

Serve as the connection between Territory Managers, clients, special orders, credit, accounting, IT, etc.

Assist in customer-based projects.

Build and manage a book of business by contacting potential new customers and new customers.

Collaborate with multiple departments to execute projects and support internal teams as needed.

Accurately and promptly process consumer transactions such as orders, quotations, and refunds.

Conduct research and disseminate particular product and sales information in response to requests from the Regional Sales Manager, Territory Managers, or customers.

Generate customer reporting to the team as needed, per Territory Manager needs.

Manage house accounts.

Collaborate with cross-departmentally as needed to execute projects.

Comprehend and utilize all cross-reference resources and locate alternative products as needed.

Monitor shipment dates to ensure on-time arrival and expedite if necessary.

Maintain competency in using personal computers, data entry terminals, and other standard office equipment and software.

Foster and maintain working relationships with customers to ensure smooth sales operations.

Qualifications and Experience Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED; and two to three years of related experience and/or training in inside sales, customer service, or HVAC/R distribution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience should include order processing, quoting, and customer account management. Familiarity with HVAC/R products and systems is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Possess strong typing skills (30–50 WPM), proficient with computers, and comfortable using 10-key calculators and standard office equipment. Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities, are essential for effectively engaging with customers and team members. Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
