Overview
Sales Planning at High Liner Foods is designed to manage the customer analysis & defined sales support analysis in alignment with the organization's development and execution of the commercial strategic and annual operating plans. Reporting to the Sales Planning Director, the Sales Planning Manager role will provide critical support to the organization in 4 key areas: customer and channel analytics, commercial planning (strategic plan/AOP support, calendar and process creation/improvement, etc), sales/customer support and other continuous improvement projects. Essential Duties and responsibilities
Drive Sales Planning Excellence
Lead sales optimization through strategic planning, S&OP collaboration, and alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders.
Deliver Actionable Insights
Analyze raw sales and customer data to generate high-quality insights and recommendations that shape customer and channel strategies.
Own Reporting and Analytics
Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports aligned with leadership expectations. Develop KPI dashboards and advanced analytics to support business decisions.
Lead Channel Forecasting and Budgeting
Coordinate volume forecasting and budgeting processes for the commercial team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Manage RFP and Pricing Processes
Oversee RFIs, bids, and RFP responses by coordinating stakeholder input. Partner with FP&A, Sales, and Marketing on pricing strategies for updates and proposals.
Monitor Sales Performance
Track and evaluate sales efficiency and productivity against customer plans and channel targets, recommending corrective actions as needed.
Champion CRM and Data Integrity
Maintain Channel CRM Data integrity in partnership with Sales. (Opportunities & Risks)
Drive Process Innovation
Identify and implement improvements in pricing, inventory reporting, and opportunity tracking to enhance operational efficiency.
Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key resource for internal teams seeking customer-related reporting and analytics support.
Advance Business Intelligence
Coordinate customer scorecards and segment-level insights to inform business development strategies.
Support Strategic Decisions
Perform ad hoc analysis for senior leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for critical business initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field Advanced Skills in Microsoft 365 Suite, including:
Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and Data Modeling) PowerPoint (creating impactful presentations) Word and Power BI
Advanced Analytics Skills 2-3 years of reporting and analysis experience, preferably using Microsoft 365 tools Ability to interpret ambiguous requirements and translate them into actionable insights Preferred Skills
Experience with Zoho CRM & Zoho CRM development is a plus Power BI development experience is a plus What's in it for you?
