Account Specialist , where you'll play a key role in coordinating international shipments and supporting clients with precision and care.
What You'll Do
Communicate with global agents to select carriers and determine optimal routing for shipments.
Calculate volume, weight, and dimensions using both metric and imperial systems.
Prepare accurate shipping cost quotations and create billing for approval.
Provide outstanding customer service via email and phone, handling inquiries and requests promptly.
Monitor shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain and update client SOP requirements.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
3+ years in a similar or related role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and dangerous goods handling.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and passion for customer service.
Education High school diploma required; industry certifications are a plus.
