Description The Route Service Representative will operate a non-CDL, box truck on a dedicated route, delivering products, rendering services, sell products, collect payment from customers, and achieve an excellent relationship with the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operational Excellence
Complete the days route in a timely and safe manner
Conduct proper inventory of customer
Receive soiled product and properly tag linen bags to ensure proper production counts
Perform daily inspection of truck before beginning of route
Demonstrates and promotes Superior Linen Service culture, values
Interpersonal
Communicates effectively with customer
High level of customer relationship by making good will calls
Listen to and resolve customer complaints
Maintain proper appearance; must be in uniform at all times
Administration
Verify load sheets and soil reports for accuracy every day before starting the route
Must maintain a Driver Qualification file, as all Route Service Representatives working for Superior Linen may be required to travel across state lines at the company’s request in order to provide service to customers or to assist in emergencies.
Education, Training and Experience Required Active Driver’s License
Preferred High School Diploma, Technical Certification, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Particular Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Must have basic computer use skill set
