The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for overseeing the complete delivery and invoicing process for customer orders. This role requires exceptional attention to detail to ensure all Drake and customer-specific quality, documentation, and packaging requirements are fully met. They will monitor open orders within SAP Business One, prepare all required paperwork, and ensure each shipment is completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
Monitor the Orders to Ship dashboard within SAP Business One and execute deliveries based on volume, due dates, and order complexity. Proactively collaborate with Customer Service and Inventory on order status and material availability. Review order details for accuracy and required documentation. Gather and verify all required documentation against the customer's Purchase Order and/or Drawing. Package and label parts according to Drake standards, customer requirements, or drawing-specific instructions. Confirm shipment details in SAP B1 and generate invoices. Qualifications
Experience with order processing in a Shipping/Warehouse setting. High attention to detail and strong time-management abilities Preferred experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or machining industry. Ability to read and interpret customer purchase orders, part drawings, and documentation requirements. Familiarity with packaging standards, shipping platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx, Ship Manager), and basic logistics. Willingness and desire to listen, learn, and cross-train with team members for continuous growth Proficient Software skills: SAP B1 ERP, MS Office Work Environment/Schedule
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying of the product is required. Normal work schedule is Mon.– Fri. 8:30 am-5:30 pm, with some flexibility for workload or projects.
