We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal / Closer. This position will be in-office, with the opportunity for hybrid and/or remote following completion of training. The ideal candidate will understand the entire closing process and is able to switch between all closing processes as needed. The Closer makes sure that all files are ready to go, all parties involved are informed, and that all closings go off without a hitch at the closing table.
In this key role, the Closer will be customer-centric; always taking initiative and working as the ultimate problem solver. This is a perfect position for someone that understands all aspects of the closing process including pre-closing, closing, and post-closing duties. What You'll Do:
Manage Distribution Emails and make sure all emails are responded to within our firm policies - be able to distinguish what goes through our software or distribution e-mail to be answered by the Closer vs Pre-Closer Agent/Buyer/Seller Communications
Buyer/Buyer's Agent/Lender communication regarding questions about closing, builder, document status, figures, and updates to all parties
Adhere to our Clients' Service Level Agreements
HUD/ALTA Preparation/Revisions/Balancing with lender/Balancing Register, etc.
Obtain funding approval from Lender/Buyer
Monitor and assist Pre-Closer by practicing great file ownership and accountability
Send final title documents to the title company insuring the transaction
Confirm all requirements on Commitment are completed prior to closing
What You'll Need:
High school diploma
5+ years of real estate closing experience with a law firm, title or lending company
Experience as a Paralegal a plus
Qualia experience a plus
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Humble and teachable
Strong task management skills with an ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
Customer-centric - the customer always comes first!
Solution-oriented - excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Must have strong computer skills and proficiency and a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs
