Move material to appropriate areas throughout the plant and document in accordance with established procedures. Load/Unload trucks and document transaction in accordance with established procedures./ppstrongResponsibilities/strong/pulliMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment./liliSort cargo before loading and unloading./liliAttach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information./liliRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets./liliMaintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected./liliPack containers and re-pack damaged containers./liliCarry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use./liliMove materials, equipment, or supplies./liliSort materials or objects for processing or transport./liliLoad shipments, belongings, or materials./liliMark materials or objects for identification./liliReceive information or instructions for performing work assignments./liliReview work orders or schedules to determine operations or procedures./liliRecord operational or production data./liliSecure cargo./liliPosition material handling equipment./liliOperate moving or lifting equipment./liliMonitor cargo area conditions./liliClean facilities or work areas./liliPackage materials or products./liliConnect cables or electrical lines./liliShovel materials./liliSet up material handling gear or equipment and packaging./liliMaintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
