divh2Truss Worker II/h2pOperate truss manufacturing machinery to assemble trusses./ppPrimary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliHandle lumber and perform miscellaneous yard work./liliRead and interpret truss-work orders, select lumber and truss plates, set up and stage truss components./liliOperate truss presses./liliRecognize and report assembly problems in a timely manner./liliLoad trusses onto trucks./liliLearn sawing techniques and load lumber onto saw./liliStack and label cut materials and band bundles./liliMaintain work stations and areas./liliAttend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required./liliPerform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks./li/ulpQualifications:/ppA Truss Worker II must:/pulliComplete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen./liliPossess or have ability to obtain Forklift Training certification./liliSpeak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language (preferred)./liliFollow and apply simple one- or two-step instructions./liliHave basic math and measurement skills./li/ulpWork Environment / Physical Demands:/ppTruss Worker II:/pulliWork in both an indoor plant environment and outdoor setting subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise, dust, and vibration levels./liliOccasionally lift/move objects up to 100 pounds, stand, and walk./liliRegularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear./li/ulpBloedorns is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
