We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Turkey Farm Manager to join our team./ppThe Turkey Farm Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our turkey farms./ppDuties will include:/pulliOverseeing the day-to-day operations of the turkey farm, including feeding, watering, and caring for the turkeys./liliManaging a team of farm employees and ensuring that they are properly trained and performing their duties effectively./liliDeveloping and implementing farm management plans to ensure optimal turkey health and welfare, ensuring that all procedures are in compliance with industry standards, bio-security and government regulations./liliMaintaining accurate records of all farm operations, including turkey inventory, feed usage, and employee time and attendance./liliEnsuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working order./liliEnsuring that all turkeys are cared for in a manner that is safe, humane, and in compliance with industry standards and government regulations./liliAssisting with the development and implementation of new farm projects, including the expansion of the turkey farm and the introduction of new products./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMinimum of 5 years of experience in turkey farming or a related field./liliDetail oriented, have well-developed written and verbal communication skills./liliMust be able to work a varied schedule that includes evenings and weekends as needed./liliBasic computer skills and be able to read and write English./liliStrong leadership, communication, and team management skills./liliBilingual preferred but not mandatory./liliAbility to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment./liliAbility to understand and interpret regulatory requirements and industry standards./liliStrong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills./liliMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment./liliExperience in operating, maintaining, and repairing a variety of agricultural equipment./liliA valid drivers license./li/ulpBenefits: We offer competitive salary, health benefits, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and a supportive work environment.
