We work together to enhance peoples lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate./ph3Summary/h3pThe focus of this role is to work as a trusted partner of the distributor expanding the overall volume and mix of products in the building products sector. The Territory Manager is also responsible for achieving company sales, mix, and profitability targets in the assigned sales territory. This position will represent the following 2-Step distribution products in our Western Missouri and Kansas markets: Cedar Renditions, Tru Exterior, Versetta Stone, PVC Trim

Skytrim and Royal, Sturdi Mount, Zuri Decking and others./ph3Duties And Responsibilities/h3pMay include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliQuickly establish strong relationships with all existing customers/liliCreate opportunity and take additional share within our distribution channels/liliEstablish heavy focus on dealer

contractor relationships to pull business through to distributors (both existing

new)/liliAnalyze territory distribution needs and establish targets for additional distribution/liliHave full understanding of installation of all products in order to assist distributors in training as well as customer service needs/liliParticipate in channel strategy for territory/liliWork closely with Marketing Department to provide information and support programs/liliOperate within expense budget parameters/liliProvide intelligence to marketing department/liliActively participate, as required, in inter-company teams and work groups/liliCreate presentations, demonstrate products and represent the company at trade shows/liliMaintain contact with dealers and distributors, and analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and to monitor customers preferences/liliConduct field visits to customers and sell services/liliIncrease sales for the Westlake Royal Building Product brands/liliPrepare proposals and contracts/liliConduct meetings, presentations, follow-ups and proposals/li/ulh3Education, Experience And Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree preferred/liliMinimum of 5 years direct sales experience required; building product sales experience preferred/liliExcellent negotiating skills/liliStrong relationship building skills/liliAbility to manage several projects simultaneously, detail oriented/liliAn enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skills/liliRequires the consultative mind-set, solution-oriented method of selling/liliExisting strong relationships within the dealer and/or distribution channel a plus/liliWorking knowledge of MS office suite including teams and outlook 365/liliExperience with Salesforce or other deal desk systems/li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3pWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus./ph3Work Environment/h3pJob will require 70% travel on average. Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week and riding in automobiles for several hours per day is required.
