Maintenance:/pulliOperate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts)./liliComplete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly./liliUse technical skills in SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep Packaging flowing./liliPerform routine operation checks./liliPerform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers./liliEnsure proper sanitation after changeovers./liliExecute advanced troubleshooting, pre-inspection checks, and complex changeovers./liliMonitor and optimize line performance./liliOversee assigned production lines, ensuring equipment is set up correctly, staffing is adequate, and materials are organized./liliCollaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment functionality./li/ulpProduct Handling, Quality Control

Inventory Management:/pulliInspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging./liliPerform manual packing and palletizing./liliFollow FIFO inventory methods, manage materials, and record shipments in SAP./liliConduct quality checks on products and packaging./liliVerify weight control, material accuracy, and product quality at multiple checkpoints./liliMinimize downtime and defects by leading the team in Centerlining and monitoring line performance to spot issues early./liliMake real-time adjustments to prevent defects./liliEnforce quality checks on all line outputs, ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards, and maintenance of accurate documentation./li/ulpFood Safety

Sanitation Compliance:/pulliFollow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies./liliMaintain cleanliness and sanitation./liliMaintain compliance documentation and complete sanitation steps during changeovers./liliLead FSQ compliance in assigned area./liliMentor team on food safety and enforce sanitation accountability./liliEnforce compliance for assigned lines, ensuring safety and sanitation practices are upheld, waste is removed promptly, and facility standards are maintained./li/ulpTeam Collaboration, Leadership

Continuous Improvement:/pulliAccurately complete basic production paperwork and report issues to supervisors./liliRecord inventory transactions, shipments, and quality results in SAP./liliParticipate in 5S efforts./liliAssist in reviewing production paperwork./liliWork with supervisors and team to develop solutions to issues./liliAct as 5S champion for area./liliLead improvement projects, perform operator-based maintenance, and analyze downtime causes./liliMaintain thorough and accurate documentation for all production activities./liliMonitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and assist in implementing effective processes./li/ulh3Knowledge, Training and Experience/h3pEducation

Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED required./liliMinimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production./liliForklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held./lili18+ years of age./li/ulpTechnical

Mechanical Skills:/pulliAbility to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment, including cartoners, baggers, case packers, sealers, depalletizers, and palletizers./liliFor higher levels, demonstrate expert troubleshooting of high-speed packaging equipment and strong understanding of theory of operation./liliPerform Winland Excellence CIL, centerlining, and line huddle activities to improve efficiency./liliMechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment irregularities./liliProficiency in SAP, hand scanners, and basic math skills./liliAdvanced levels require proficiency in MII, WE systems, and interpreting line huddle measures to resolve issues./liliComputer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook./li/ulpSafety
