A Personal Banker is creative and can think outside the box to provide relevant solutions to our clients, while maintaining our Vision, Mission, and Values./ppA successful Personal Banker must:/pulliBuild exceptional knowledge of bank products and services to maintain rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions./liliOpen new accounts, discuss and refer or originate loans, and onboard new clients./liliIntroduce and demonstrate digital and self-service options to clients./liliCommunicate clearly with staff and clients verbally, over the phone, and via video chat./liliComfortable functioning as a concierge or greeter./liliMake out-of-office calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources./liliDevelop competencies and certifications/registration necessary to support branch performance goals./liliProactively accepts initiatives and assignments./liliAdhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations./liliReflect the core values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, and service.
