Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Naples, FL 34109
As a Field Merchandiser, you’ll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You’ll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
Your starting hourly pay rate will be
$15.00 – $17.00
depending on your skills and experience.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are between
12–15 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is
required .
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role has three major components:
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you’ll restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. You’ll use technology to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
Holiday support:
Holiday demand drives Hallmark’s operations. You may be required to work additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays, you may work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
Department resets:
At times you may join a team responsible for installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You’ll typically receive notification two weeks in advance for remodeling assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
Team support:
As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you’re part of a network of merchandisers who support each other across territories.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding job that requires high energy and a sense of urgency. You’ll work on the sell‑floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, and lifting cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You’ll kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may climb stairs and ladders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years of age.
Capable of reading, writing, and understanding English.
Able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
Can operate a digital handheld device to open documents and interpret information.
Has access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
