We are seeking an experienced
Audit Director
to lead and grow a dynamic audit practice within a fast-growing, independent consulting and accounting firm. This leadership role offers the opportunity to drive business growth, mentor a talented team, and deliver exceptional audit and advisory services. Flexible remote work options available.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality, profitability, and timely delivery
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on compliance, consulting, and business improvement
Drive business development initiatives including client proposals, cross-selling, and practice growth strategies
Mentor, coach, and develop staff through performance feedback, training, and professional development
Oversee department budgeting, profitability metrics, and compliance with quality control standards
Collaborate with senior leadership to support firm-wide operations and strategic planning
Stay current with industry trends and professional standards by attending relevant development and networking events
What You Bring:
CPA designation with 7+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting environment
3+ years experience in quality control (QC) review functions
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Strong leadership and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams effectively
Proficient in audit and industry software including Profx, Engagement, CCH, and Microsoft Office suite
