Ayden Healthcare of Toledo is currently seeking a Human Resource Director/ Payroll. Summary:
Responsible for Maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Manages the payroll process. Responsibilities
Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes. Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs. Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. Inform employees of benefits and assist and direct for enrollment process. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings. Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Maintain historical human resource records, keeping past and current records. Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate and timely. Critically review and analyze payroll, reviewing timecards daily, auditing and monitoring overtime. Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accuracy with timecards. Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including position openings, overtime, hours worked, etc. Skills Requirements
Positive and Engaging Prior experience working as a Human Resource Director in a skilled nursing facility. Understanding of HR Requirements for skilled nursing facility staff
to include webchecks, background checks, licensure, PPD budgets, staffing policies and regulations. Prefer understanding of Payroll Based Journal PBJ process Strong customer service and communication skills Extremely organized and detailed oriented. Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance. Lawful hiring & termination Workmen’s comp knowledge Human Resources Management Payroll and Benefits Administration. Performance Management. Compensation and Wage Structure, employee classification. Proficient with MS Office. Job Type
